Worship at Fairlawn Lutheran Church and School (FLCS)
Glorifying God through public and private worship is an essential element of a Christian life. The FLCS community offers a variety of public worship experiences to address a variety of ways to give glory to God who is with us in Jesus Christ, to know Him and be changed by His love.
Our pastor shares the same Christ-centered message during each of two morning services, unifying us as a community of faith.
Where We Worship
Most of our public worship services take place in the sanctuary, the great room near the entry. We also gather for private worship in our chapel and throughout the building.
The Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated in all worship services. Water is applied by pouring or sprinkling in the public service. Arrangements will be made if other methods of water application are desired. Contact the church office for more information and scheduling.
The Sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated each Sunday in all public worship services; private Holy Communion is also available upon request to our pastor. All Christians who seek personal forgiveness from Christ are invited to participate.
Adult Bible Study is available each week at 10:00am. Children's Sunday School is focused on 3 year olds - 7th graders. It is a place where faith, imagination and learning go hand in hand. Youth Sunday School is for 8th - 12th graders - the youth are divided into age groups to study God's word together with trained adults leading the way.
Children of all ages are encouraged to stay with parents or adult care-takers throughout worship. A free nursery is provided at all services.
